The basic vision behind this idea is “The three stages of Faith”. There are Three Stages of Faith If you see something Wrong Stop it Physically If you cannot stop it with your Tongue and third The last stage that if you Cannot Stop just think that this wrong.
So I concluded and promised to our Creator; that at least I can utter and write what the truth is. Though the First stage is still far to achieve, which is to stop things by actions. I promise I will never switch off from listening to our creator who speaks through our hearts.
So very presence of all my honorable readers here today, have endorsed this idea of being the part of this revolution. Now I am going to write within from my heart under the guidance of our creator and I believe! everyone here would read this with the grace of Our Creator.
Complete Root Cause Analysis
Now, what is root cause analysis? To define root cause analysis of mine. I am going to give you an icy definition something very tough to agree with but unfortunately, it’s the truth we all don’t want to face. We all are complaining about social problems and issues in our society. I asked many people. What is the root cause of our social problems? What is the reason behind these issues? Why things are going out of control? Why we are not living a proper life? Why our youth is not having a proper way to show their skills their passion? Why their mental approach is getting down day by day?
Replies what I got were that we are corrupt our government is not working properly. Media has taken our youth in his control. The youth is not respecting their elders, etc.
I don’t believe these are the root causes. Root cause always comes from the roots. You have to see things from the beginning. You have to look from the start of the complete process.
one of the Root cause analysis examples is When you go to a doctor for any disease. You tell him that I am having a headache, stomachache, cough, and fever. He doesn’t give you the medicine of every different part. First, get the medicine of headache and then come after 2 days. Then I will give you the medicine for the fever. He never does this. He first analyzes the situation, then he goes for the tests.
After seeing the results of the tests, he gets to the root cause analysis of all the problems. After that, he starts the treatment of that root cause. If someone is having a headache because of a fever and fever because of infection the doctor just gives him paracetamol for the headache. Is he going to be ok? “Never”.
The Root of the Problem
We are doing the same thing. We are not properly getting treatment of the disease. We are not going towards the root cause analysis. This is the only reason we are now in a deadly disease and we are not getting the roots of it, that’s why it’s increasing day by day.
Another very pathetic dilemma of our society is that we are playing the blame game. Tell me one thing, my respected readers. If anyone has an accident. His car gets damaged and he goes to a mechanic and says him to fix it. The mechanic starts blaming. “It’s your mistake it’s all your mistake why you damaged the car I am not fixing it.” Now how would you feel at that moment?
This is what we all are doing these days. We are blaming and only claiming. Then we are complaining about the issues. No one is getting the blames on himself. No one is taking responsibility. By this blame game at the current moment, we get free from allegations. But this is like treating cancer from a pain killer.
Now the thing that I am saying, again and again, is this the root cause, root cause. What is that root cause analysis? As I said before that if we have to find the root cause of any problem. We have to examine it from the beginning of that process. Now just think that what is the beginning of human life or a human being. It’s when he is born and this is the beginning of human life. Here lies the thing which we are looking for, THE ROOT CAUSE.
The Reality and Importance of Root Cause
When we talk about the reality of this Root cause many people say that this is a small and non-important thing to discuss. I want to tell you something about our world and the importance of this topic.
Whenever a woman gets pregnant in any of the developed countries. They start teaching her the science subjects and all those things which they think are necessary for life. We take every beautiful gadget and dresses for them. Unfortunately, we don’t think about their inner beauties. Those are your responsibility too.
I have always targeted youth for this idea and this thought. Why not old parents. To understand this step of mine just have a look at history. Always youth has come forward in any nation to build it and to destroy it. So now this is my target that I don’t want to criticize what happened in the past. The things our parents have done. I want my youth to focus on this Root Cause. To build this nation as in future society will be in our hands as a parent.
How to solve this Root issue:
Now the question arises, What to do for this Root Cause of problems how to get rid of it? I have found the answer in my religion (Islam). No, I am not being religious here nor am I advocating my religion. I am going to put the things in front of you. Even if you are not from my religion just read it to find the solution. If you like to accept it or else leave it. What I found in my religion about
First of all, I would like to tell you what a parent is in my Religion and what is the position and right of a parent:
- And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], “uff,” and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word. (Surah#17, Ayat#23).
- And We have enjoined upon man [care] for his parents. His mother carried him, [increasing her] in weakness upon weakness, and his weaning is in two years. Be grateful to Me and to your parents; to Me is the [final] destination. (Surah#14, Ayat#31).
- And We have enjoined upon man, to his parents, good treatment. His mother carried him with hardship and gave birth to him with hardship, and his gestation and weaning [period] are thirty months. [He grows] until, when he reaches maturity and reaches [the age of] forty years, he says, “My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims. (Surah#46, Ayat#15).
- But one who says to his parents, “Uff to you; do you promise me that I will be brought forth [from the earth] when generations before me have already passed on [into oblivion]?” while they call to Allah for help [and to their son], “Woe to you! Believe! Indeed, the promise of Allah is the truth.” But he says, “This is not but legends of the former people” (Surah#46, Ayat#17)
- My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction.” (Surah#71, Ayat#28).
These are some verses from the “Quran” the holy scripture of my religion. In these, we can see that the most respectable relation of a parent and child. 4th verse states that we are not even allowed to say “uff” in front of our parents here “uff” has a thousand meanings. In short, we are not allowed to do anything which disrespects them any action, sentence or even a word.
Duties of Parents:
The moment when you have so many rights and such respect it means responsibilities are waiting for you get ready. Our Beloved Prophet (s) said: “Allah (SWT) will ask every caretaker about the people under his care, and the man will be asked about the people of his household” (Nasa’i, Abu Da’ud).
Here it’s important to add that the position of a father in my religion is of a leader. It doesn’t mean that he is having all controls sovereignty only belongs to Allah. He is given some extra charges to lead the house and this makes the questionnaire more difficult for him.
Allah (SWT) states in the Quran: “O you who believe! Ward off yourselves and your families against a Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who disobey not, (from executing) the commands they receive from Allah, but do that which they are commanded” (Surah#66,Ayat#6).
Now it’s time to discuss the duties of the parents:
Treat your children fairly
Always remember when there is no merit corruption arises. Today we all condemn corruption but it starts from our homes and parenting. My beloved prophet told us 1400 years ago that “Fear Allah and treat your children fairly” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2447; Muslim, 1623). Because he knew that what results are going to be if this thing is going to be ignored.
Two things are damn important to lead your Children one is their unity and the second is the Respect and Love they have for you. Because your body and voice are not going to be powerful forever but Unity, Respect, and Love never get old and weak. In this context, my beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) said, “Would you like them to honor you equally?” He said, “Yes.” In other words, if you want them all to honor you equally, then be equally fair to all of them.
Even about the inheritance that children are bound to receive from parents, Allah (SWT) has made it clear that it does not depend on the parents’ wishes but has to be given according to the laws laid down in the Quran:
“Allah commands you as regards your children’s (inheritance)…” (Surah An-Nisa 4:11).
Teaching Allah’s rights to children
The biggest problem in our society is accountability. We are controlled by our parents until we are children then what happens? As we all know one day we all have to die. The moment we are going to die our controls our fear, power and leadership all are going to be finished. So what have we done to keep things in control after that? Big query NO? I have an answer. Make your leadership immortal by following the lead of the one who is never going to die “Allah”. If you will make Him your leader and will tell your children what he is and what are the rights of “Allah”. They are always going to be in control.
. As an example, Luqman(alaihis’ salam) provided the following instructions to his son as mentioned in the Quran by Allah:
“And (remember) when Luqmaan said to his son when he was advising him: “O my son! Join not in worship others with Allah. Verily, joining others in worship with Allah is a great Zulm (wrong) indeed” [Surah Luqman31:13].
Teaching Huqooq-ul-Ibad (Rights of other fellow beings)
The most prominent and understood issue of our society is the implementation of duties and respects of RIGHTs. We all know there are thousands of moments that are working for the Rights Of Human Beings, but there is not a prominent change. The reason behind that is the above-mentioned problems.
Allah(SWT) said, “Worship Allah and join none with Him in worship, and do good to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, Al-Masakin (the poor), the neighbor who is near of kin, the neighbour who is a stranger, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (you meet), and those (slaves) whom your right hands possess. Verily, Allah does not like such as are proud and boastful (An-Nisa 4:36).”
This is one of the hundreds of verses on “HUMAN RIGTHS” and you can have an idea from it that what kind of religion ISLAM is.
Teach your children skills that lead to earning only Halal (legal)
Another prominent issue of our society is using illegal ways to earn. Whenever you are eating food from money earned by illegal ways always remember you are eating a meal that you have snatched from someone’s mouth. So Parents should spend their time, effort, and resources to help their children make the right choices for earning a living. In doing so, parents should stress the need for their children to pursue career paths that can provide them solely with Halal (legal) living. Islam places enormous emphasis on this subject and these teachings are clearly stated both in the Quran and hadith. In one case, the prophet (s) said:
“…Purify your food, your supplication will be accepted. By the one in whose hand lays the life of Muhammad, verily a servant places a morsel of Haram in his stomach (and as a result) forty days of worship will not be accepted from him.” (Recorded by Imam Tabrani). In another narration, it is narrated that an angel at Bayt al-Maqdis proclaims every day and night: “Whosoever consumes unlawful (haram) food, Allah Most High will not accept his obligatory (fard) and voluntary worship.”(See: al-Kaba’ir of Imam Dhahabi).
PROVIDE YOUR CHILDREN A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT FOR THEIR UPBRINGING:
Always remember “If you want your children to be saints first be the one yourself.” If you are a thief and you want your child to be a policeman he will get a uniform of police. But he will always be a thief inside a uniform. This nature of stealing things will not go away. He will find new methods to steal things and this is the moment when bribe and illegal use of your power born.
Above mentioned plans and ways will only work when you will start them from yourself. First, your accountability comes then your children’s. ISLAM refers to this process from the word “JAHAD-BILL-NAFFS” which means self struggle or a fight with the evil inside you. First, you have done this then you have a RIGHT to point out others in an appropriate manner. This JAHAD is also called “JAHAD-AL-AKBAR” which means the biggest struggle.
We all should put in our best efforts to ensure that we are going to be good parents and a good citizen. By giving our best shot to our societies in the form of our children as my beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) said:
“Upon death, man’s deeds will stop except for three deeds, namely: a continuous charitable fund, endowment or goodwill; knowledge left for people to benefit from; and a pious righteous and God-fearing child who continuously prays to Allah, for the souls of his parents” (Muslim).
Finally, let’s not forget that fulfilling the rights of the individuals prescribed by Allah is part of the limits set by Allah that should be taken seriously. Allah states thus in the Quran: And treat not the Verses (Laws) of Allah as a jest, but remember Allah’s favors on you (i.e. Islam), and that which He has sent down to you of the Book (i.e. the Qur’an) and Al-Hikmah (the Prophet’s Sunnah – legal ways – Islamic jurisprudence) whereby He instructs you. And fear Allah, and know that Allah is all-aware of everything Quran (2:231)
